We have selected a school in Liberia in Africa for our Humanitarian Project. In Liberia, there are thousands of children faced with the lack of means to acquire education due to the different challenges faced by the family, disaster, civil unrest, and diseases. One of the schools in Monrovia which is the capital of Liberia, received a large influx of children who lost their parents due to Ebola and the pandemic. We have chosen to assist this orphan group and make it our own I.L.A humanitarian project called Youth Legacy Program. The school building is currently dual purpose, with one room serving as a teaching area and living quarters. Due to the children’s desperate need for housing, food, and quality education, our Youth Legacy Program will help to raise funds towards building additional rooms for housing, education, and care packets. Currently, the children range from ages 4 to 16 years. A portion of our donations is set aside for this international outreach/humanitarian effort in addition to our local community outreach and family assistance programs.
